Merchandising automation made easy: Goods Checker at Poland & CEE Retail Summit

Goods Checker team joined the largest retail event in Poland and told exhibitors about efficient ways to automate merchandising processes. The conference took place on April 9-10 in Warsaw and brought together about 3,000 professionals from the retail sector.

The Goods Checker team participates in the Poland & CEE Retail Summit for the second year in a row. This platform is a perfect opportunity to meet key market players, demonstrate the app functionality, and also establish useful contacts, since the participants include industry leaders who are shaping the future of retail.

During the forum, entire sessions were devoted to the use of technology in conventional retail and e-commerce. Automation of merchandising processes is one of the promising options for digitalization of retail, which is relevant for merchandising agencies, distributors, manufacturers of FMCG goods, major retail chains. Merchandising automation allows monitoring the display and availability of goods, and increasing the revenue and profit of an FMCG company. Polish business closely follows the development of innovation and rapidly applies best practices in order to become even more technologically advanced and sustainable.

Product recognition on a shelf using computer vision is already a familiar technology for Polish companies. Therefore, many visitors shared their experience in using such solutions, asked good questions about how our solution works, what it can do and how quickly it can be deployed. This kind of large-scale forums provide good opportunity to improve product visibility and find partners and potential customers.

The summit is an important platform for retail and a catalyst for industry development, offering useful information and growth opportunities, and shaping the future of retail. It also discusses cutting-edge strategies for sustainable development, supply chain management and other current issues affecting the development of this industry in Poland and Eastern Europe.
This year’s event turned out to be even bigger, more exciting and interesting. It is pleasantly surprising that the event is becoming international and attracting guests from other European countries and even the USA. We held many exciting meetings charged with constructive proposals and the desire of businesses to implement advanced solutions in their processes. Thanks to the event, we could get better insight in the Polish market, learn the specifics of how companies operate, their priorities, tasks and challenges.
